Williams is starting to get hit again. Really, since the all-star break. He gave up a couple of runs in Atlanta, and I overlooked it, because we had multi-run leads, and things didn't get too hairy in those games, but it's continued. The Philly game last Sunday is the only one where he looked dominant since the break. Hopefully, it's just a mid-season lull (he doesn't look lost out there, like he did in April).
One play not getting enough mentions is that catch Dominguez made in the 10th inning. He'll never win style points in the outfield, but that's minimum a 2-run double, and probably a 3-run double, if he doesn't track that one down. It probably wound up being the biggest play of the game (along with the balk), even though the Rays did take the lead on it.
Also, a friendly reminder that it's an afternoon game today, at 1:05 pm. Good thing too, as the thunderstorms are probably going to come on later in the afternoon, and into the evening.
