i advocate for every player to get a T for hanging on the rim if they produce like Simon did.
Nice try but, no one wants to acknowledge is that we don’t have enough BE talent on this team to win . Blaming Mullin for exhausted players trying to defend 3’s is way off base . Every team in the Conference has 3-4 guys who can drain 3’s consistently and we don’t . We need a couple of dead eye long range bombers to compete next year . Plus , we need a stud guy in the middle , Owens had played well but, big dudes push him around too much. Not his fault . Mullin needs to get big kids from somewhere and the long range bombers . When we get a full BE Roster , we will compete better . Lovett defection will plague us rest of this season . We are outgunned by just about every Team . We need to beat DePaul, PC and maybe Marquette and Butler . At this point , that is a realistic goal . We need a post player badly . Kanter killed us inside tonight .

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. Keep telling yourself things will get better with BE talent on roster. We are a joke & every BE school knows it.
year 3. Blame is worthy. Maybe not year one or 2. My complaint year 1 is he didnt coach and sat on the table. I was silent year 2. Heck this year I've been mainly silent, But short bench or not every fucking team hits thees against us at an alarming clip that they dont against other teams and we dont attempt to rebound lately. So you cant have it both ways. If you dont defend the 3 then you should be reounding or even have guys near the basket when they hit them. Watch the tape

Most games this season have been the same. The team is so offensively challenged, especially in the half court, that they have to exert enormous energy to score in bursts. Then they are toast when the game is on the line. They are like the guys guarding the bridge in Saving Private Ryan, down to a bunch of worn out soldiers running low on ammo. At least relief is on the way. I sure hope that Dixon and Williams can shoot threes, because the bigs on the way are not scorers.

Totally agree. Understand that Mullin wanted to send a message but gotta play Ahmed. Yakwe is disappointing but he needs to play more than four minutes. I know Trimble hit a couple of threes but not sure why he gets more time than Yakwe.

Because team has trouble scoring and Trimble has started to hit some threes.
We can beat G’town next time around . So , maybe we can get to 5-6 Wins . Ponds shot is officially MIA and 6-20 won’t win games . He got fouled a lot but, these refs were awful . We got calls .Mulliin and Richmond need to get Ponds alone in the Gym for just 3 point work . He did miss a few where he got in close but , didn’t finish . And , Clark , who played very well offensively , had only 1 rebound again . Our guys just don’t or won’t rebound . Often no one is underneath . Simon had Career game . Ahmed was pretty much nothing and was benched for bad D.

Missed a few minutes of the second half. What did Ahmed do that caused him to get benched?

Maybe they should take lessons from Justin “Slingshot” Simon. Notwithstanding his fugly shot, kid is shooting over 50 percent from three and may finish the year over 70 percent from the line.
