Writing Off The Knicks

Stupid Knicks... they just had to win those last few games at the end of the season. They can't even tank correctly.

I think it's gonna go KAT, Okafor, Russell. So then I'd take Mudiay with the 4th pick.

Top 3 players are set in stone. The debate begins with the Knicks. Do they take the point guard who went off to play in china or the national champ Winslow? I think it's between those two. Personally I'll take Winslow but that's because he impressed me in the NCAA tournament. I've never seen mudiay play so won't pretend to know his game at all
 
Pray that the Sixers hate Russell and that he drops to 4th..
 
I heard that their top two choices for FA's are Monroe and Millsap so even though I wanted 1 or 2, maybe Mudiay will work out for them.

The problem is that Winslow pulled a Nick Anderson and showed up under 6'5" to the pre-draft camp. I think the Knicks need to go Mudiay.
 
@AdamZagoria: And oh by the way 2, the #Knicks have no 1st-round pick in 2016...Ben Simmons, Skal Labissiere, Jaylen Brown, etc

Good players, but neither can create the type of spacing Okafor will that naturally would have let Carmelo get easier shots and form the foundation for a 2017 championship. But whatever.

You just knew that the last place team, the Timberwolves (which should have been the Knicks if twasn't for their winning those couple of games at the end) would get the 1st pick and the snake bit, inefficiently run asylum known as the Knicks wouldn't even get No. 2 (I really figured they would wind up with the 5th pick).

I would love for Russell to fall to them but if he doesn't I would go for Winslow.

If they had the first pick, I would have gone for Townes over Okafor.
 
I honestly think they did not want the stigma of being the worst team. Like being the 2nd worst is any better. I predict Phil quits after next season. Hopefully Adam Silver doesn't let Dolan rehire Thomas.

Funny of my 3 favorite teams, SJU has the best Management / Ownership/ Coach-manager situation.
 
TWolves will have the three consecutive No. 1 picks playing for them next year. Unfortunately one of them will still be Anthony Bennett.
