I watched him at UNC and this is not the same player. His game has become as slovenly as his hairdo! The kid needs a make-over. He will never become an efficient point guard .......in fact I can't tell what position Pitino has him playing! I guess that's he meant by "position-less"
For whatever reason, I couldn’t respond to the meme of “it’s fine” but I did want to respond saying that I’m very uncomfortable that this season’s potential is clearly riding on Darling becoming a 30mpg guy. No one else on the roster is a point, it’s a level of failure that cancels out some of Matt’s wins

I just don’t think we brought Jackson here to play 6 min and watch Darling play 17. Jackson at his worst is on par with Darling. The talent is not even remotely comparable.
Maybe raw talent but I’ve yet to see Ian create shots consistently for other guys.
I don’t think those two are interchangeable in the slightest unfortunately. But also think Jackson is better than he has showed and we will see it…eventually

If he's looking for physical play and a guard who will rebound, there's a young fella on our bench whose effort he never shuts up about and is built like a strong safety. Might be an option. Especially over Pohto.
