Will MSG Stick With Us?

For SJU to abandon MSG, it would be admitting the program will never be what it once was. For that to happen, the Big east have to be gone, Lavin would have to be gone, and the ability to recruit gone.

We are not leaving MSG anytime soon. This is foolish talk.

I agree with what you are saying but somehow with all the BE schools now existing in the ACC I envision the ACC tournament in MSG and the BE being pushed out.

Remember we have to cover the rent by a lot as we are supporting the other sports.
The new BE will not do that for us to draw sufficient crowds

Well, as long as there's a Big East, that won't be happening until after 2026.

All the hoop schools play in public arenas.

And how many of those arenas are brand new costing $1 billion in the greatest city in the world? You can't just say all public arenas are the same...look at the Times Warner Arena that Siena plays at...nothing special about it just typical. The Barclays Center is gorgeous with the old school woodwork and it's brand new. I really think that in 50 years Barclays will be seen as a historic venue.
Can't wait for the next 50 years to fly by at which time I may be 108 years old but at least I'll be able to call the Barclay's Center a historic venue.LOL

Eat your veggies, fish, and tofu and you just might make it.
