In his first 8 games? No, he was behind 2 year starter Dash Harris. But that wasn't the real issue, the real issue was he probably felt he wasn't going to get a fair shot at staring this year after Billy Kennedy, who didn't recruit Jamal (Turgeon did before going to Maryland), hired J'Mychal Reese's father as an assistant coach in order to secure his son's commitment. Sure enough he's playing 30 minutes a game at the point despite the fact that he doesn't even lead his team in assists. Haven't seen him play yet but just some statistical observations.
