This thread is the perfect example of why moderators get a raw deal. Not one mod even suggested deleting or merging a redundant, uninformed, nails to a chalkboard worthy, and agitating (by design of course) thread like this one because it breaks no site rules.
Threads like this however do break balls.
uconn has won four of the last 16 ncaa tournaments.
their program is in another universe than ours.
they have great facilities, all americans and national titles
we have Carnesecca arena, first round big east tournament exits, and we are trying to convince phil greene not to transfer.
it is comparing day and night

Come on now Hit! Carnesseca has old world charm that that plastic coated Gampel will never have. You sound like just another disgruntled team manager like Jayon1 when you come down on alma mater! I will agree with you 100% on the Phil Greene dilemma in that if this incompetent staff is trying to retain the one player that should transfer, we have Hit (pardon the pun) a new low!
BTW, is it safe to say the Maven will not be buying Lav any more cigars?
A more relevant title for this thread would be "What Seton Hall Can Do, St John's Can't Do." We weren't much better than them this year--barely beat them in each game, they beat Xavier twice, then showed up to beat Nova in the BET. And now, while we hold our breath over Delarosa, they have the #10 recruiting class coming in for 2014 and are showing a scary ability to get top-rated NY/NJ kids.
