Who Are You Going to Adopt?

U of A Wildcats. I live in Tucson. I'm a season ticket holder and my kid goes to the school.

I haven't watched much west coast bball. Are they and ucla legit?

I love me some witchita and ronny baker. A lot of guys who were not high major recruits but play the game right. I'd like to see them get through an extremely difficult bracket and prove last year was no fluke

U of A is a solid, well coached team. Pac 12 player of the year (Johnson) and freshman of the year (Gordon). Could make it to the Final Four. UCLA's good too. They beat AZ in the Pac 12 Tourney. Kyle Anderson's their top gun. Jersey kid. I can see them winning a game or two.

I'm with the Big East schools for now.

I'm at a hotel right now where Harvard, Oklahoma, North Dakota state are staying. The Harvard pep band was just playing outside the hotel. It's horrible, the worst kind of hell. I thought being away from NY would be good once our season folded, but this is punishment of some sort.

Insightful. So you think the #3 team in the country can make the final four. Oh and thanks for the heads up on Kyle Anderson being an east coast kid. Why wasn't Lavin on him? ;)

But seriously Conor, Arizona is missing Brandon Ashley a bit since his season ending injury. With him they would have been a favorite to cut down the nets in Dallas. Without him they're still obviously very good. Nick Johnson is great but we've known that since he was in HS. Aaron Gordon too. But the key I think is if Tarzooski (sp on purpose) plays well. He was a disappointment as a frosh but he's become pretty serviceable and is the only big getting serious playing time making them a little small. He'll have to at least protect the rim and rebound. Gordon can help with that but he's more all around than big. The transfer PG McConnell is a blast to watch as well. Man, would have been great to hire Sean Miller at some point. LOL

Re UCLA, another stacked team pretty much like Howland's last, but seems to be coming together, then again they lost the season ender to Wash St. Jordan Adams still scores and when he's not Norman Powell does, Wear twins are still underachievers for McD's but combined they're usually close to a double double. Tony Parker's improved after a dreadful frosh season but not enough to be a difference maker. Really though they have 3 PGs who have been making a difference, Kyle (PG / PF whatever), who has shown the best all around game from any player in the country this year, their frosh Levine, who's an athletic freak and on draft boards is only a cog on this team but wouldn't be surprised to see him break out in the tourney, and Alford's son, who has run the team pretty well at times.

In case you couldn't tell AZ and UCLA would be my answers to LMF's original question, plus Wichita State.

I like New Mexico with PF Cameron Bearstow (for his play and name) and there 7' C Kirk who hopefully Adonis Delarosa can become if we get him. Also like Iowa State.

(under sized C Niang, Canadian Ejim).

If you really like his name you should know its bairstow.

For me Albany and anyone that plays an acc team.
Your spelling correction could have used a smiley face and I do like the team and the way he plays. Besides I like Bearstow better-it sounds tougher and he is a power forward! :)

Is this Levant Rivard kid that just put up 9 on Cincinnati in the first half really much different than Hooper?

Duke (but I always root for them), so if I adopt another team in another regional, I'll go with Providence.

.... the fantasy continues.

Laurent is a better defender but Hooper is a better 3 point shooter. Max needs to improve his footwork to be more effective.

I'm going to go with PC. I have a new found respect for them after seeing up close (a bit too much) this season.

Would like to see them go deep. And, it's good for the BE.
