Who Are You Going to Adopt?

Although the St. John's season is over, there is basketball left to be played. I don't know about others, but just about every year I find a team or two to "adopt" for postseason play. In years past it has been Penn, Princeton, Holy Cross, Gonzaga, Tulsa, Wichita State, West Virginia, Notre Dame and others. Basically teams that play a nice brand of basketball and have something likeable about them.

My "adoptees" this year are Providence out of the BE (Creighton a close second) and Michigan. I'm sure another low seed will emerge someplace along the way once play starts.

Anybody else have candidate(s)?

providence, creighton and wichita st although no way they make the final 4

I like New Mexico with PF Cameron Bearstow (for his play and name) and there 7' C Kirk who hopefully Adonis Delarosa can become if we get him. Also like Iowa State.

(under sized C Niang, Canadian Ejim).

Providence, Nova, Creighton, Xavier and Robert Morris

Georgetown.

LOL

I know this is tongue-in-cheek, as you and I are in line about our thoughts about them.

I'm not adopting anyone. My bad. I'm adopting whoever is playing Duke, UNC, and Syracuse. Once, those teams are done, then I couldn't care less.

It feels weird saying it out loud, but I find it easy to root for Kevin Ollie and Napier.
The stain of Calhoun is gone, and all else being equal I'd like to see UCONN beat up on the ACC and big10.

Silently rooting for Kyle Anderson.

Pulling for Masiello and Manhattan.
I as well. They got a tough draw with Louisville but if they can shock the world with a win, I think the Fire Lavin thread will set a record for all time posts.

I agree with you Desco, but only if the BE schools don't already beat up on the ACC and Big10.

I don't have it in me to root for anyone else. I will enjoy a few games but its SJU or bust for me. If a former SJU player began coaching a team I might root for them.

If you really like his name you should know its bairstow.

For me Albany and anyone that plays an acc team.
