@SOrangeJuice: Wow. Bad news for SHU. #shbb MT @Isaiah_W15: Stress Fracture Out For A Few Weeks But I Know & Believe My Team Will Do Great Without Me

@NYPost_Brazille: Isaiah Whitehead injury couldn't come at worse time. Seton Hall's first four Big East games: #sjubb, Villanova, at Xavier, at Creighton.

Damn, idk how you guys feel but I want him to be available against us.

I'm certainly not happy he is injured, but look forward to pressuring Sina, Carrington & Gibbs forcing TOs. Big loss for SH.

@John_Fanta: Whitehead was averaging 11.9 pts, 4.3 reb, 3.4 assists per game. Pirates have to retool offense for now w/o 2-time Big East Rookie of the Wk

Glad he's out, but would prefer that the kid had a three-hour migraine rather than a fracture that will keep him out for other games.

Will they lay Tiny off until Whitehead comes back?

They have looked terrible when IW hasn't been on the floor.

Can't let up though. Full-court press them the whole game.

no one feels sorry for st johns. when dj kennedy was hurt in the BE game against the Cuse (a game I still think we win if he stays in the game) and he couldnt play in the NCAA, I didnt see Mark Few of Gonzaga upset about it or hoping DJ could play. Injuries are part of the game. But if it means an advantage to st johns I will take it and not feel sorry for anyone.

This kid had a chance to stay home and play for a good St. John's team. He chose not too and instead went to out near rival. I want him to play because it would mean that much more and create a lot more buzz, not because it would mean a better challenge.

I'm sure we'll still see him later down the road when we play them at home in Feb

The kid and his coach played the crap out of us 13 months ago and let us down horribly. Having said that I wish him no ill will but neither do I wish him all the success in the world. If his being out against us puts us in a better chance to win so be it and to possibly be at 13-1 at the half way point in the season which continues to exceed our expectations. Rest assured the rest of the big east and anyone else on our schedule was doubled over with laughter when Krith Thomas and Adonis were both declared ineligible within a week of another.
The bottom line is just win and go Red Storm. Merry Christmas to all.

Agree thought he played us

I don't wish him to be injured and but I don't care about him either. I'd rather play Seton Hall and beat the hell out of them with him but I'lll be just as happy as beating them without him either

I would never root for a kid to get hurt, but karma always gets you Willard. Seton Hall couldnt lose enough

StJ's would beat the Hall this season regardless of whether Whitehead plays.

i would rather beat seton hall with whitehead healthy. They way he was recruited just irks me. He was definitely ours until the very last minute.

Would those of you that still complain about the Tiny hiring/whitehead commit have cared if Lavin had hired a HS coach in order to get a top flight recruit? I know I wouldn't have. Would you guys have given a damn if Lavin added Briscoe's HS coach to the staff at the last minute and we got Isiah away from Cal? I highly doubt it. In fact I could care less if Lavin filled his staff with asst coaches who have pipelines to the top HS and AAU programs in the area//country. Wasn't CO all but a lock for Cinci(?) when, at the last minute and for whatever reason, he decided to commit to us? This stuff happens all the time. Lets face it, alls fair in love and recruiting, as long as its within NCAA guidelines.
