Absolutly. He has been a great representative of the school all 4 years here. If you boo him, then you give up your right to complain about guys like Zach Brown, and Rysheed Jordan.

Also, how about Justin Cole? A walk-on winning the battle for a loose ball late in the game (or tie up, possession SJU). I guess that shouldn't be a surprise, though. I'm sure hard work in practice from guys like him, makes our scholarship guys go the extra mile.

I always thought J Cole could have played low level Division 1 watching him at Molloy. Nice to see him get a chance.

Never heard any boos for AliB or for the team for that matter all year long. Maybe you mean boers who were of Dutch decent in S. Africa.

I always thought it was stupid not to give out unused scholarships to the walkons, i mean they are only one year commitments, why not give'em out if you don't have recruits coming in?

At the very least, some fans groaned every time he made a move on the bench, to say nothing of when he came into the game. People screaming at our players not to pass the ball to him. It's pathetic.

Unfortunately, AA never developed into the player that we hoped he would. Whether his talent level or the inability of the staff to develop and advance his game, he has been a great teammate and representative of the program. I am thrilled he is taking advantage of his current opportunities. Good on you Amar.

Amar is a great kid, an excellent student and will be successful in whatever career he chooses. This young man speaks three languages fluently and it would not surprise me if he hooked up with a European club at some level either as a player or in management.
As for comments regarding his development, I think he had the misfortune of being "taught" by the most novice and inexperienced staff in all of college basketball for the past three years. Even more inexplicable has been Mullin’s lack of utizing him or Yakwe to rest the iron-men 5 that needed a 2 or 3 minute blow in almost every game.
I wish Amar the best of luck in his future.

Amar is a great kid. I'm happy he's played so well the last couple of games. Looking forward to the same type of play on wedensday night so we can smack down Georgetown

Never a boo from me but I was one of the people who thought Amar would develop more, particularly with a bit of a back to the basket game down low. There was a play against PC where he tried a pivoting move to the hoop that was way off and gave me the sense that his lateral or rotational balance is sub-par. C'est la vie, all the best to him.

He did have a few exceptional moments vs. New York's cesspool, Syracuse. Hope he has a great game vs. G'town.

Thank you, Amar. There will always be the Syracuse memories.
