What constitutes this season as a success?

At 3-6 I thought the guys would have to play their best to finish up 7-11. Now playing Friday night in BE tourny semi's and winning a ncaa tourney game would great job by the kids.If we get red hot, which we are, and finish up ranked we could be a #6. Then I'm looking to win that 3-6 game And get to that 2ed w/e. That's my dreaming of what constitutes a success.

In all seriousness, the goal was a ticket to the dance. Despite all the drama, the ineligbilities, the short roster, nagging injuries - the goal was and is to get through the regular season. Even as many of us gave up, Harrison fought through an injury that could have derailed our tournament hopes had he sat out. Why did he keep playing? The dance.

Get there, and I'm happy, and the season is a success.

Fall short, no matter the valiant effort, and the season is a disappointment.

It's been a weird season. We started out 11-1, then went 2-6 over our next eight, and have now gone 6-2 over our past eight.

I'd really like at minimum 1 win in the NCAA Tournament.

I agree with mattc, I just want to win a tournament game. We will most likely be in an 8-9 or 7-10 so our second round match will be very tough no matter what so I'd like to see us win one, put up a good fight second round and if we win it's just icing on the cake

well said, agreed. There will be a lot of teams that make the dance that had to overcome some adversity, whether it's transfers, injuries, academics, etc. Success for this season is making the tourney, and not the NIT.

Now more than ever, the bid is withing sight, within reach, and a senior laden team knows what it has to do to get there. They control their own destiny, and with less roster this is a better squad than last year. Last year they had their shot to secure a bid and failed. When you are clearly in the hunt with three games to go, if they fail, it will be a major disappointment to us, and to them.
