What are we.

We are nothing and at times less then that.

We are horrible and so are the coaches

Please, mods.... Thanks! He's a moron.

EDIT: I'm guessing one of the mod's removed the wrong thread dealing with this moron.

We had the chance to win it. Harrison gotta make up for that initial miss.

terrible loss. No way to sugar coat it. Very average PSU team beating you in NYC
FTs 39 to 13. No penetration

So hard to judge when following on GT, but play-by-play reads like 'Karr is killing us tonight...

In my opinion he really did... not great shot selection, wild around the rim missing shots, missed the huge free throw at the end of the game and the stupid foul on the three point shooter...

But the team isn't well coached, the kids makes lots of not great decisions.. LOTS of them. Obekpa getting a rebound up 2 pts in over time and chucks up court for a home-run type play and it's intercepted... Harrison definitely forces shots too much during this game as well... he just drives toward the basket basket a lot and hopes he gets fouled.

I'd rather Harrison drive to the basket, instead of just chucking it up from the outside. Especially, with these emphasized foul rules.

Some of the decisions by the players come down to them not being smart players. It's not all coaching.

NYC? Man, this game didn't have any homecourt advantage to it. LOL

I agree, in reference to it being a bad loss.

It's not that bad a loss. Sure it sucks how we lost but penn state is a good team and we were getting our ass beat... It's not like we played down, we were getting beat and we fought back... We came back from 15 and screwed up much like Amir garret at the end of the nova game at the pavilion last year. Bad loss, but we showed a lot in that comeback. Piss poor coaching though towards the end.

I know but we could have if we cared.

These guys have to learn how to finish games. And the inability to make FTs is embarrassing. Oh well.

Is this a joke?

I don't believe we have much of a problem scoring the basketball. Our problem are the slow starts; silly mistakes (it seems they also come at bad times, too); and consistent defense.

Sampson had a real poor final ten minutes in regulation, especially with the foul on the three pointer.
His offense was negative during that spell with the wild shots. Between his play and Pointer,s fouls with Harrison,s overtime fouls , it was frustrating for the team and the fans. You have credit
the comeback but we had them finished with just reasonably poised play. Too bad

We scored enough tonight, but what about nights when our jumpers aren't going down? We need to show some ability to get the ball inside. Agree on the slow start comment, I believe the Wagner game was the only game we came out and looked ok in he first half.

We need to play solid defense (which, we don't do consistently) and take the ball inside when the jumper isn't working. Take the ball and drive the lane, and take advantage of the emphasized rules.
