Congrats young man and congrats to the Staff. Welcome Yankuba!!!!!

@EvanDaniels: Yankuba Sima (http://t.co/wuGflAuT9Q) led the U18 European Championships in rebounding at over 12 a game.

You guys are lucky Paultz is a nicer guy than me. If I were him I'd throw up a Rabb pic just to mess with you guys.

Good job. Maybe you are better than an ex-girlfriend. For now anyway.

Another great pickup! At worst a good backup next year and then steps into Obekpa's spot the following year. If we don't get Diallo or the center from Greece we could do much worse than having Chris and Sima upfront along with Williams and Amar.

It's going to be interesting now to see how things play out with our scholarship situation and whether guys like ADR and Jones will be back.

Now if we can somehow convince Sheed and Sampson to come back, things could be very interesting next year.

I forget who the recruit was, but I do recall a recruit during the Fraschilla years also announcing (on television) that he was going to attend the "University of St. John's".

Coach Mullin and company are making recruiting look easy.

I believe ADR said the same thing last year too

That's why I think picking up Williams was huge. Can play SF or PF depending on how our recruiting shapes up. I think him at SF is ideal, though, because it means the staff did something big in filling a potential C/PF void.

Very exciting times.

It's great to get big, athletic men for the front court. Sima is an important recruit. One thing the program has to do better than in previous years is to develop a big man that is a threat to post up and score. Not that we can expect to immediately be like 3 of the final 4 teams, but Towns, Big Frank and Okafor tells you how nice it is to have a big man that can score. Is Pinckney still in play, or anyone else noted for developing big men?

It was ADR saying "The Univ. of St John's" at his ceremony in the CTK library
Look what happened to him

Two questions:

1. Is Sima qualified to play next season?
2. What is ADR's status for next year?

the reason why he said the school name backwards is because of his spanish. it is always universidad de (fill in the blank). one of the few things i learned in spanish class. :cheer:
