That Sidney Moncreif wasn't too shabby either.
 
Not to turn this into a nostalgic look at the early to mid-1980's Milwaukee Bucks, but I enjoyed watching those teams. They were second favorite behind the Knicks.

Marques Johnson, Junior Bridgeman, and one of my all time favorites Sidney Moncrief just could not get past the Celtics and 76ers. Even Don Nelson was not allergic to defense (of course coaching Moncrief will do that).

Anyway, welcome Paul Pressey. We look forward to seeing you and the rest of the staff instill much needed seriousness, work ethic, and dogged tenacity in this program.

I truly believe he will be a huge asset to the program. I sense that we have a group of kids that want to and are prepared to work hard , not necessarily to get to the next level, but to be better ball players and to make the most out of their time at SJU. A guy like Pressey could have a great impact on players such as LJ, Earlington, Roberts, Mgriff, Champagne , Williams to name a few. I am very excited to watch these exciting group of young men develop.

I believe Local product Brian Winters (Archbishop Molloy) was also on the Bucks in Pressey’s rookie season. I think Pressey replaced him as shooting guard.

Brian Winters was part of that Frank McGuire NYC to South Carolina pipeline in the early 70s that also included John Roche, Kevin Joyce, Tom Owens and others I can't think of offhand.

Bingo mj. Good ole Jack Sikma. I’m pretty sure he played with those guys. Pressey was just a great all around B-ball player and Cummings was NASTY in his prime. thanks dude.

I forgot the years it was but he was with Seattle first becauseI remember him playing with Xavier McDaniel who I was big fan of and Tom Chambers who was real good but yeah he definitely played with the bucs for a few years with Pressey
