Welcome Paul Pressey

"Without a doubt, Paul Pressey will be an invaluable member of our basketball staff and vital to our future success," said Anderson. "Paul has an innovative mind for the game coupled with tremendous experience as both a coach and a player.

"As a former teammate, I can attest to Paul's commitment to success and achieving it the right way, through hard work and dedication. Paul has tremendous basketball insight and a passion to share his knowledge. We are fortunate to have him here at St. John's."

Would think LJ in particular can really benefit from former NBA point forward Pressey's tutelage.

Lets connect the dots.....

adult, experienced Athletic Director Mike Cragg hired adult, experienced Coach Mike Anderson ......

Adult experienced Coach Mike Anderson hires experience hard working veteran staff.

Yep, can't wait to watch St. John's name mentioned with more top recruits this summer, and to see CMA's end to end style installed at St. John's.

Not fair. Mitch had no defined role, did not recruit and brought virtually nothing to the table that anyone could see. This staff is deep and PP is a complimentary piece, not just taking up space and $$$.
Mitch 2.0 (summoning my inner MainMan)
Guess even referencing MainMan didn't do it for you so before anyone else misinterprets I'll splain-was being sarcastic, joking, as MMposts drip with sarcasm.

Mitch said everything necessary in his goodbye letter to St. John's and its fans.

Apologize for missing the point.

His "Ball is Life" reel looks a little grainy, but it seems like we signed a good one.

That was a great video. I remember Pressey from the Bucks but his time at Tulsa was pre ESPN. Some fantastic passes.

Pressey was a guy I looked forward to watching whenever the Bucks played the Knicks or Nets on Ch. 9 or 11.... He was the total team player and stat sheet stuffer. Pressey, Terry Cummings & that big whit blonde dude(?) formed a good frontcourt back in the day. Having him teaching our players, especially LJ, Heron, Williams & the kid. Can only help alll our kids get better as players and men.

Welcome aboard Mr. Pressey

Strong hiring testimonial by CMA that I think captures Paul Pressey’s potential impact for our program.
Have to think Paul’s insights will dramatically benefit both Mustapha and LJ next season.

You're probably talking about Jack Sikma.
