St.John’s potential transfer LJ Figueroa @Lj_Figueroa is in route to visit Western Kentucky. If Charles Bassey opts to return to school, they can have a Top 25 team. In the process of scheduling visits to #Arkansas; potentially #Georgia & #Miami too.

Ugh. Strange & ominous. Weird, not on 247sports list but is on VC's list. Damn. And yes, wonder what this might mean regarding Mark Hsu? Ugh, 1 mo' time.

Confusing on the top 25 comment, because if Bassey came back regardless LJ would have to sit out a year.
 
Whatever plays out, no one to blame but ourselves. Would be a tough hit but there is a bigger picture here, namely MA and team need to build a program with sustainability and continuity. Big job
 
this doesn't sound right, first we heard HSU would be coming here and now he's recruiting our guy to his school, only at SJU this is crazy.....

Kinda seems like that. I've never seen a situation where a coach that's been linked to coming to one place starts recruiting a kid to another place.

Also, Hsu as of a couple days ago started following some recruits I know TJ had been talking to as well as a bunch of people affiliated with St. John's. This situation is weird, I don't know what to make of it. If Hsu is trying to play games and use leverage to make sure CMA hires him, I can tell you he might as well forget about the position if that's the case, Coach Anderson isn't going to get into all that.

Frankly, a little surprising unless he has an immediately eligible card to play. Not sure if his family still lives in Massachusetts but not sure what that would possibly be.
