We clinched a first round BET bye today.

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but today we're guaranteed to finish top 6 in the BET, meaning we won't have to worry about facing an RPI killer in our first BET game. We'll be facing a team likely somewhere in the 20's or 30's. I think as of today we'd be playing Providence (#4 vs. #5). .

I don't think we can finish lower then 5th, since Xavier (currently in the 6 spot) is 8-9, with one game left. We obviously win the tiebreaker with them.

Very nice, I forgot how the tiebreaker worked. So, most likely we'll be playing Providence.

I just ran RPI Forecast with us losing the next 3 (including vs. Providence on a neutral court). 48 RPI 21 SOS with 5 top 50 (top 30) wins. Possibly 6 top 50 wins if SMC or Syracuse finish strong.

Probably either Providence or Georgetown. Outside chance that it could be Butler, but that is unlikely. Almost certain that it will be the 4-5 matchup on Thursday, 3/12, at around 2:30 pm. I think there is a slight chance we can finish 3rd, but a lot would have to happen for that.

Do not like like playing a team we beat 2x law of averages

Rather PC than G'Town.
Have that 2 out of 3 times stat.

Me too. If PC beats Marquette tomorrow, they will be tied with Georgetown at 10-6. PC swept Gtown this year so if they end up tied at the end of the season, PC wins the tiebreaker. I have a bad feeling we're headed towards a 4 vs 5 matchup with Gtown and then a likely semi-final against Nova if we win.

Honestly I'd be fine with Georgetown, Providence, or Xavier (the three teams we could face). Butler and Nova are the only two who scare me.

We are not playing Xavier. They are going to finish 6th.

Don't we still have a chance (though very unlikely) at a 3 seed?

Id like butler at the garden with Rysheed. Hoping we face them in the 4/5. Would rather avoid providence I think.

we could still technically end up in a four way tie for second place at 11-7 with butler, gt, and pc.

Four way ties should be solved by a game of Horse.

Really? Mase have you watched our losses to Butler and our wins versus Providence?
I know there's always the danger of having to beat a team a 3rd time in a row, but definitely give me the Friars over Butler.

Even if all things are equal, give the edge to Butler coach over Cooley. He is excellent adapting his approach to the opposition & overall prepares well.

The wildcard here is Chrabascz. Even if he makes it back for the tourney, he may not be 100% and they are not nearly as effective without him.

I'm not sure why, but I'd rather play Butler too. I feel that if we play our game, we can beat them. Also, I'm afraid of the revenge factor if we have to face PC again.
