Wagner Knocks Off #18 Yukon

Last nights SNY Sportsnite show covered Uconn's mens and womens basketball games with no mention of SJU whatsoever.
Extremely annoying, but I think they have a deal with Yukon. They also consider Syracuse to be a local team.

Granted but they usually cover us too. Was waiting until last seconds of the show when they say and one final note for at least a mention.

On FS1, when they went to commercial, they showed 33rd street, maybe SNY thought the game was at the Garden

This is great watching the arrogance of Pukon fade. All while the Big East is getting stronger by the year. Good luck with football boys.

Thursday night UConn @ Loyola Marymount 10pm SNY.

Thinking after the SHU -Iowa game I'll tune into SNY and watch those chumps fall to 0-3.
GO LOYOLA!!!!!!!!!!!!

UCONN survived this one, 65-62. LMU ran some terrible offense down the stretch.

I can't say that UCONN did anything in this game to make me believe that they will turn it around.

Uconn could have easily lost. They aren't going to compete for any championships this year...

Was very surprised to see our own (for one season at least) Steve Dunlap coaching LMU. Announcer said it was his third season as HC there. Was probably my own lack of following it, but glad to see him settling into his own big-time program. Would have been even nicer if he could have knocked off Suck-onn.

Glad to see you're catching up with the coaching carousel. ;)

I was thinking about going to that game . . . tonight. For some reason I thought it was a Friday game. I only live about 10 minutes from campus and wife is at her book club tonight.

Totally off topic but last night I was thinking of going to Pauley and pretty good seats were available on StubHub for $6.50. Admittedly it's against a poor opponent (Pacfic) but was surprised by that. I'm sure it's like at CA season ticket holders who just can't be bothered. Tickets for the Michigan game start at $40.

And if powerful donors want to dump the coach, they can't even send out the secret back channel feelers to gauge Calhoun's interest in returning because he wouldn't backstab Ollie.

Oregon goes on to a 79-69 win. UConn's going to miss Terry Larrier, his 13.5 ppg & 5 rpg averages, and, most importantly, his consistency.

CIn addition to losing Larrier;
@UConnMBB Alterique Gilbert will have season-ending surgery. Has a torn labrum in left shoulder.
Dom Amore – ‏@AmoreCourant

@UConnMBB also says Mamadou Diarra will miss the season and redshirt Will not have surgery, but has knee issue.

Can we just change the title of this thread to " Fuck Uconn " or something like that ? The wagner game seems like it was 2 months ago already

Rumor has it that Jungle Dave has added yet another tee shirt to his inventory.
