I don’t see how Mitchell coming affects Vince as Mitchell is not a 5. Since I trust someone who says Mitchell is indeed coming, there must be a big who has been under our (this Site’s) radar also coming.

Mystery big incoming?

I love mystery bigs now that we have NIL. In the past not so much. I loved Vince, but obviously Ricky P going big to win us championship. Vince and Maker leaving means we are bringing a good big in, and it’s not just Mitchell who is a PF.

Having some beef to backup Zuby was important. Dillon Mitchell cannot play the 5 against guys like Reed, Sorber, Freeman etc. I don’t trust Prey for that either.

Doesn’t have to be a stud by any stretch, but hope we find a suitable replacement

Prey is backup 5, Mitchell is backup 3/4.

Prey is a great player for us , very underrated. With regard to Vince not good to lose a back up big and odd considering he was college roommates with one of our new transfers and I think helped with the recruiting visit. Furthermore , I don’t think the new Euro player we got today is a “big” so to say, more a shooter so I hope Rick has someone to else in mind. Playing small in Big East is odd move, I think a strength last year for us was our length. Wish Vince came back for depth. We already lost Maker .
