Ruben took I think one three pinter and missed. I could be wrong about this, but his rep is as a good outside shooter.True for this year . He doesn’t get the Ball down low , so it’s hard to tell what he’s got offensively
I think Pitino tells him, play defense , grab a rebound if necessary , set some picks and then take a seat .
I thought only Maher took 3 pintersRuben took I think one three pinter and missed. I could be wrong about this, but his rep is as a good outside shooter.
He's 1- 8 from three but very limited sample and pretty sure if he played overseas in good competition he can hit the outside shot given a chance. He hasn't been asked by Pitino to score yet that will come with more PT.Ruben took I think one three pinter and missed. I could be wrong about this, but his rep is as a good outside shooter.
3 pinters the beer can get warm. I prefer to go the lawyer route and drink my beer by the courtI thought only Maher took 3 pinters
I do not have the same Bball IQ of other here but to me Prey seems to be an excellent defensive player and has an extremely high bball IQ when on the floor. He is always aware and moves fast for his size.Prey is going to be first guy off the bench tonight. You're going to see plenty of him.
Very good MJM!3 pinters the beer can get warm. I prefer to go the lawyer route and drink my beer by the court![]()
Mike, real men drink their beer by the quart.drink my beer by the court
ehh... i dont see this as a good sign... I see this line and wanna hop on SJU... what say you Eric?-1.5 still. I do think the bookies are not respecting SJU because of their complete lack of offense in stretches. Lets win by 10
He screens nonstop and passes the ball well. I wouldn't call that nothing. The next step is him gaining confidence to go through with the muscle memory he's built on offense. He can take any big off the bounce from the perimeter and can stick an open three if he doesn't rush it. Tough to do those things playing 5-7 minutes in a game.Prey has been really good on D. The problem is he provides nothing on offense.
Not necessary…I know this was not the intent of your post… we are legit…doesn’t mean we cant lose but refreshing to know that this this isn’t a team that needs a handicapI thought I heard one of the announcers say that Kalk was under the weather. Maybe he gets worse before Sunday?![]()
Prey is a key player and contributorThe only way we see a meaningful Glover and Prey tonight is if we build a nice first half lead. Hopefully that is the case. It's time for this team to start showing who they are for a whole game and not just in second halves.
Vince needs to develop multiple aspects of his game but definitely contributes…I, for one, want to see him catch it closer to the basket, show noo hesitation and, at most, 1 dribble…when he does this, he looks like me playing puff basketball against my younger brother back in the day…LOLIf Smith is out depending on foul trouble I would expect to see more of the bench in the first half and ride the starters more in the second half. Its hard to win without Smith as the 6th man especially after we lost Dunlap for the season. Give the team and Pitino a lot of credit for making adjustments to get it done without him.
Prey has been great and Glover has talent. Really no need for Vince to play as Villanova is small. Rather see Ayo for a few minutes.
I will be really disappointed if we lose but this feels like a tough one. It would be great to gut it out and basically wrap up the regular season title Sunday.
He is shooting 3s at a 12.5% clip. So, you are way offRuben took I think one three pinter and missed. I could be wrong about this, but his rep is as a good outside shooter.
I get concerned if I see Tab or 7up and God forbid Hoffman or White RoseBesides the Creighton game, St. John's has not lost this season with Fanta behind the mic.
