Early hot outside shooting was fools gold for us

well, the smart playing went to hell fast. Jones and Curbelo are mentally similisr. If they hit two in a row they figure that is catalyst to shoot from 35 feet with noone else even downcourt or near the key. When Posh hits two in a row this year, we will see how he reacts. But we started out passing the ball into Soriano and out or around but then lapsed into showtime individual b.s. chucks. of course, no time outs to break momentum and get our heads straightened out.
We wont win if we dont play as smart as they always do.

For whatever reason , this is the worst 1/2 that Posh has played in all his 3 years . He will reset without question in the 2nd half .. Hopefully . Jones has tendency to just chuck unconscionably at the wrong times . And , of course our vaunted D was No Where in the building .. Blew great opportunity to blow Nova out and now it’s a dog fight .

I think coaches gameplan coming out was great. We were attacking and executing. It went to shit with poor shot selection and he waited far to long to wrangle them in.

Not to rag on a great kid and awesome player but I really hated it when posh threw his hands up in the air when Soriano didn’t handle his pass underneath. That’s not the leader we have seen. Lord knows he’s fumbled some looks this year.

Our first road game against Iowa State and we started the first half with a 17 to 2 run against us. Our second road game tonight and the first half ended with that same 17 to 2 run against us. Playing on the road can be ugly. Hopefully we can regain some control of this in the second half.
