It just wouldn't be an SJU game if Mussini didnt get swatted taking the ball to the hoop.

Nova can toy with us the rest of the night. We just don't have the horses to.play with them, and they are smart enough to know that a total letdown will have us in the gane so that wont happen.
 
Its very rare to lose a game in the first five minutes but we saw it tonight.
Between all the missed shots, turnovers and fouls, the end came early.
The explanation about not starting one of our two consistent scorers should be interesting.

Lovett was clearly camping and in pain. That's why he didn't start.

Seems like my posts are not going through. Lovett was clearly cramping at the beginning of the game and was in discomfort. That's why he didn't start.
 
We just played the most odious first 10 minutes in a long time. Zero for 11 and 2 turnovers is 26 points. And, it wasn't Villanova defense but our helter skelter offense that guarantees this as a loss. Did anyone else notice DiVincenzo salivating with Mussini guarding him!
 
A general comment not at all related to the score of this game but it is ridiculous how bad officiating has become.

it's been focking horrible this year
 
I'm not sure I've ever seen a player pick up four fouls in a half. Think Mullin had to go with ponds. Last foul was a phantom call.
 
that foul by Ponds was so bad its almost like he wanted to come out of the game
 
7-0 run by us in 70 seconds to start the second half. What the hell is going on ???

Can we get it to single digits ?
