i do not remember ever seeing a D1 coach show up on the sideline in shorts... I do not care if it is Maui or not .

i know I will get yelled at for saying this but Mullin needs to act the part cause i look at him today and it looks like he is on a Hawaiian vacation and OK with whatever happens.

Yeah we're just way, way outmatched. Vandy is a potential Final Four team. Some saying they could make a run at Kentucky for the SEC title. Mullin is going to make our guys take their beating with their chins up and it'll be good experience for the future. Gotta play a tough 2nd half and view it as a learning opportunity.

Lets hope that Alkins, Freundenberg and Ahmed are in class now and can't see this mess lol.

I really don't think it affects their recruitment. They're aware of what happened in the recent past and what's happening now. They can choose to be part of an exciting SJU rebuild or not. I think the days of hanging our future on one or two "potential" recruits is on it's way out. The pool will continue to get bigger with this staff.

Really? We are light to begin with and we are playing wlth 2 rotation guys on the bench and hurt. Vandy has 3 7 footers and 7 guys who are shooting over 40% from the 3 point line. And we care that Mullin is wearing shorts?

I for one do.... it looks unprofessional. You can take some leeway when your an established coach and sucessful. Not when you are 3-0 in your career and losing by 30 at half

Hopefully they're focusing on Mullin's shorts in the locker room right now. If we had only hired Bobby Hurley you know he'd be wearing a nice pair of slacks and we'd be up 10 right now.

They certainly look the part. 3 7-footers, and 4 guys who shot better then 40% (or better) from 3 last year (Kornet being one and the same). That's a tough combination. Kentucky better not take them lightly.

My only real issue with this team, is that their confidence seems to be very fragile. Usually, freshman laden teams have the opposite problem early in the year. You know, they are so confident in themselves, that they get humbled. We're getting humbled, and our confidence is going down with it. I hope that doesn't have a long-lasting effect on this season.

i understand they dress down in Maui.... Stallings is in a polo shirt and guys are usually in Hawaiian shorts. I just dont think the shorts are the way to go.
