Is Branch playing tonight. We haven't played well without him.
i saw 6:30 "festivities"? is that right?
I am really very surprised by South Florida's poor season. They seemed to turn a corner last year and played tough hard nosed defense that allowed them to win a bunch of games. They were 12-6 in conference and won 22 games overall.
Moving in to this year they returned a lot of the core of their team and have senior experience and an excellent point guard. I could see them taking a step backward a little bit, but I thought they would be at least close to five hundred in conference. This (1-12 in conference and 10-15 overall ) was really hard for me to see.
Obviously if this year's edition of South Florida shows up we should win this game handily, however if they play the way they did last year this could be a tough game for us.
Would getting a nice, comfortable 15-point win tonight be asking too much? If there was ever a night, it has to be tonight, no?

If memory serves me correctly, there have been a few games this year where we've had a 15 point lead. South Carolina was the only game where we didn't blow it. I think we were up 17 against UNCA.
Nothing is safe with this group of cardiac kids.

This team hasn't learned to finish off weaker opponents. This really needs to be a 15+ point win at home against an inferior opponent.

All I care about is a WIN, and for the team to play well in doing so, to build some confidence for the next game. Nothing else matters, including the final score.
Agreed and that's why I didn't bet. We win but not by coverage.
