Hofstra not a good team this year but had a chance for a quality win last night. Led Richmond the entire game then lost in overtime.

I think Monmouth is a step down from Wagner and a couple of steps down from Bucknell in terms of quality opponent.

Should be a bench clearing blowout. Hooper should get several minutes and have opportunity to find rythm & confidence. Would be serious cause for worry if this one is close.

To your point I think Hall was 22 point favs when they played them.
 
The Monmouth coaching staff could probably beat their team today
Head Coach King Rice and assistants Brian Reese and Derrick Phelps were all very good players at North Carolina
 
This game is nothing more than a chance for this team to improve without having to worry about the outcome. I hope this is the game the staff unveils the press. Maybe they didn't trust it this early against elite shooting, disciplined teams like Wisconsin and Bucknell?

I'll be slightly disappointed with anything less than a 20-point win.

These late games are rough
 
Hopefully we can get more of the team from the second half last night than the first half. A good strong consistent performance showing improvement on defense and maybe a clean offensive performance would be nice. I think it would be good for the team and maybe build on some momentum and gain some confidence moving forward.
 
I'd like to see Hooper get some action,more than a few minutes, to see what he could do.

Agreed, especially about the press. Would love to see us do that and address a few other areas that need work, such as Hooper getting time (as others have mentioned), Jordan continuing to work out some kinks, D'Lo getting his 3 point stroke back, maybe some inside out with Sanchez, Sampson and Obekpa, etc. We likely won't get to all of these, but a few would be good progress. The team is showing progress game to game, and needs to keep pushing themselves regardless of the quality of the opponent.
 
Just keep getting better and keep winning. Can't afford letdowns. There are still potentially some dangerous games on our coming schedule. I want only 1 loss entering the Syracuse game.

just walk up to the window. the game isn't likely to sell out. on your way there, someone may be selling his/her tix for a better price...and you don't have to wonder about counterfeiters.

on another matter, i hate to say it, but howie kussoy of the post is way better than his predecessor.

I still laugh when I see scalpers outside of CA. Don't they have somewhere better to be.
