UNC- ASH

They only lost by 2 at NC ST. May be a good test tonight. No line on game.

Also, 2 of their 4 wins are against non-D1 teams. So it seems like their an unpredictable bunch. Reminds me of the days of Eugene Lawrence...

Anyway, here's to finishing out the nonconference schedule with a whooping!

Yeah, but they lost to Akron by 19
Their record is 4-7
Wins over Northeastern, Lenoir-Rhyme, Montreat and Western Carolina
Losses to Ohio St, USC Upstate, NC State, Providence (by 5), Akron, Tennessee and UNC Wilmington

Damn, I assumed Tierney coming back would be the end of Luftman, not Tarik leaving. Ugh.

Branch's second possession- a sweet no look pass to Harrison wide open under the hoop. Trying so hard not to get over-hyped about JB.

Also, I second austour's comments. Luftman is insufferable.

Two more stealthy assists from Branch. I get that it's only UNC Asheville, but this kid is fun to watch!

Johnnies up 10 at the U12 TO.

They look great. When Branch is on the court you want to know where he is at all times because something fun is gonna happen. And it'll more likely than not involve Sampson. Up 13 at the U4.

ESPN's running box shows Obekpa with 7 boards already.

Is he actually averaging 9 per game? Thought I saw that posted at bottom of screen.

Sloppy and frankly I would give up the blocked shots for a rebound or two. We are just a weak rebounding team period.

Everybody decides they are gonna go up and block the shot. We'll sometimes have 3 players going up to block a shot. Communicate.

Team already seems so much more under control when Branch is on the court
