UCLA Shoplifting Charges in China

Now I question UCLA's academics because things are so cheap in China you dont need to steal. Send them to a Nike factory to work it off !!
 
The 3 are listed as questionable for the game depending on how well they survive the caning. ;) If they are guilty very stupid to commit even what we consider a low level crime because you never know how severe the punishment is in a foreign country.
 
Big Baller Brand knockoffs! Get a $450 U.S. pair of sneakers for actual Chinese production cost of $0.27 - or just steal them because that is the UCLA smart thing to do when traveling in a totalitarian Asian country.

his first instinct was to throw a press conference. mercifully, some common sense squeezed through and he cancelled it.
 
So much criticism for the leading candidate for father of the year. Granted his main attribute seems to be that he did not abandon his children but such is the times we live in.
 
Trump's in China maybe he can help out... Can you imagine a conversation between The Donald and LaVar Ball? Would they cancel each other out or create a rift in the space-time continuum?

 
They may catch a break with Trump being there and the government seeking not to derail pleasantries.

This embarrasses the US far more than the individuals involved. The school would be well within their rights to suspend or even terminate their scholarships.

My question did they do it? IF they did steal the sunglasses, it's something the Chinese should be irked about--Not UCLA or the country.
Or are the charges, ah 'trumped up'? IF so, THAT would be cause for UCLA and the country to be irate.

Dunno if charges are bogus or true is my sole point. Would think these guys have some $$'s of their own though!
