UBS game ticket status

UBS site now says the following:

Assuming venue pre-sale means buying directly at the arena?

The Next Sale Will Begin on Tue, Nov 14 @ 10:00 am EST

Onsale to General Public
Starts Wed, Nov 15 @ 10:00 am EST

Venue Presale
Starts Tue, Nov 14 @ 10:00 am EST
Ends Tue, Nov 14 @ 10:00 pm EST

Here's official

I realize not the case but, timing is eerily odd as if planned to try to coincide with coming off a potential W tonight

Honestly they are just beholden to the UBS staff. I’ll blame mom and pop all the time but it’s not on them.

My tickets are my account and similar to MSG. Did anyone else notice the high ticket price when you click on the details of tickets? I’m being charged $225 for a seat that just went on sale for $113 on ticketmaster.

Bought single game tickets for Hofstra game. I got section 118, Row 17

I hope that elitist, MJM doesn't get pissed that he'll have to share his section with three "southerners" who just come up to NY to visit family, eat decent Italian food & bagels and go to SJU games

Well, at least my niece & nephew who live in Wantagh won't get harassed by that elitist.

It is. The arena is beautiful, especially the exterior. What are they thinking with the design of that grandstand.

Belmont Park is one of the most charming tracks. Don’t destroy it. This is akin to renovating the original Penn Station into a 1970’s airport.
It's weird because people are going to the track for a very specific reason, and I don't think they care about glitz. And for those that do, they can still dress for the Stakes for Instagram pics with the original charming background.

I love the old Belmont too. OLV72 and I have huge disagreement on this but IMO this will go down as one of the biggest boondoggle wastes of money ever

I wouldn’t say they needed to go crazy - but some things like the restrooms needed to be renovated very badly. I don’t think a nickel had went into the place in my lifetime. Last year I noticed a Pitino signed ball and picture up in the grandstand. It was from when he was Celtics coach and looked like it hadn’t been so much as dusted since someone put it up.

This is an absolutely moronic idea. Construction and Real Estate money corrupts things and this certainly is true here. Belmont Park is by far the best of the NYRA tracks, by far the best of the Triple Crown venues and with the possible exception of Monmouth Park is the best venue to watch a live horse race at. For about a tenth of the money they are spending, they could have done a first class renovation of the number one track in America!

I attended my first Belmont Stakes in 1973 and have attended every running of the Belmont Stakes from 1976 to the present (except for the 2020 running when Fans were not allowed due to Covid-19). Going to the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness are basically race watching disasters for spectators.

To fully appreciate, the model for this abomination you have to look no further than the reconstruction of Gulfstream Park. It went from a showplace destination for snowbird vacation goers (that sat about 20,000 people), to an afterthought to a bad shopping mall that now has no more than 200 outdoor seats at that track.

This is just another nail in the coffin to my favorite live sport.

I think they are emulating the grandstands at Ascot and Longchamps both of which are impressive
