I love that schedule....although I'm not confident in how we would fare if we played most of the teams of the last 15 years.

Thats the west coast, most NewYorkers go to the East coast Palm Beach, Broward,Dade counties and Miami is a high major opponent .We had a nice crowd at the Georgia Tech game in the Miami tourney a few years back and those tickets were expensive.

Wrong coast. Several of us are are on the East Coast. When Miami was in the "old" Big East, I used to go to the St John's-Miami games in the Miami Arena. The immediate surrounding area was so bad, my brother and I would literally run from the parking lot to the arena. We would sit in the second level at midcourt and be virtually the only people sitting in that area. We would wear St John's gear and scream our guts out the entire game. I remember taking a rash of $hit from Miami fans after one game when Mahoney was the head coach. We were ahead for 90% of the game. Miami got hot at the end of regulation, tied it before the final buzzer and won in double overtime. Boy, the Canes fans gave it to us good that night. We deserved it!!!

I would go to every game at Miami, it was nice. I too wore my St Johns shirt proudly and was very vocal.

We did a Nashville/Memphis trip a couple of years ago. I really liked Memphis but was wowed by Nashville., which is a thriving metropolis with great southern flair.
In that vein, I nominate Vanderbilt as a wonderful home and away option. Great road trip!!!
Nashville another city would love a road trip to. Haven't been there either. So I second the Vandy home and home idea !MarkRedman post=436585 said:mjmaherjr post=436584 said:Any home and away has to be with a cool city that I haven't been to yet that has good food. I nominate Memphis
