TV Broadcast Rights/Streaming services

I was going to say that for the modern household that's the only disadvantage. Moving our spare TV collecting dust in the garage into the viewing room is a definite option. But my wife would probably kill me.
Just move it for the game and put it back afterwards. I do that when I sit out on the deck and decide to catch a game. I have two extra TVs from when we sold my parent’s house.

Oof, yeah last year we only had 4 Peacock games and only one of them was interesting OR away (@ Creighton). I didn't sub to it last year, but will need to this year. It's the direction all conferences are heading, unfortunately.
Unfortunately, the streaming services know that sports programing is the most lucrative kind of programing. It pulls more viewers than traditional programing, so it commands more money from advertisers.

Because of this they pay more to obtain sports programing. The sources of the programing (ie: our basketball program) sells the programing to the highest bidder in order to pay for their sports activities.

We're going to see a lot more of this in the coming years due to the money needed for the NIL.

9 Peacock Games ? Seems a little burdensome .
Wonder if there will be a 6 month package or something akin to that ?

Anyone with more insight ?

My insight. We are more than willing to cough up for season tix pay over $25 round trip on LIRR to go to every MSG game pay $22 a beer including tip and spending whatever at Rose Pizza post game while waiting for train not including whatever we all spend pre or post game at Stout Tracks or Tir Na Nog

I don’t think paying for peacock to watch your favorite team is burdensome

We went through this last year but if you have Amex Platinum it’s free.

But the deal JohnniePirate just mentioned is a no complaints allowed fantastic deal
