A five game losing streak will be broken on Friday. Hopefully it's ours and not their's!!!
 
A road win at this point is such a plus for staff & our inexperienced squad stating the obvious. I think they will get it, but then again I predicted a 25 point win over Delaware St. :)

VCU was actually the must win. The 2 games since have been a reflection of a team that is mentally and psychologically broken.

Tulane, like Delaware St is a game that this talented roster should win by 20+ points. This game will tell what we can expect going forward this season. If they win, I think it will be the beginning of a multi game win streak. If they lose, they may not even match the 8 wins from last yr.

Friday will either be the beginning of the end or the beginning of the beginning for this squad...... and coaching staff.

A few points:
If this team has lost their edge mentally from a few difficult losses, which seems possible, then they have issues with a lack of toughness.
As for your reference to our " talented roster", how many losses will it take for some concede that the roster isn't all that talented. I measure talent by wins and losses. the rest is just potential. The most talented guard on the court in at least 2 of our 7 games played for Minny and Del State. Lovett and Ponds have great potential, but are one way threats at this point, and inconsistent threats at that. I won't get into the others.

Honestly i don't think it is effort. We only have 3 athletic guys who are also skilled and 2 of them are 6 foot tall
Then we have one guy who is skilled but is super nonathletic and he is also around 6 feet tall
Then we have three athletic guys who are unskilled
Need more skilled athletic guys with size which is the main reason we stink.
