Travis Ford's Recruiting

It doesn't make me feel one iota better. I just want to read about another commitment or two for the storm.

Just puts things in perspective that other schools lose just as many recruits.

Great point, your right, we complain and whine all the time when SJU loses players but every school goes through this and it would not surprize me if Travis Ford loses his job after this year. His whole Offense is give the ball to Page and pray he is hot from three-point range.

Travis Ford went 0-for-9 with his 2007 recruiting class at UMass. His 2009 haul at Oklahoma St? 0-for-7.

Point taken. I know I, for one, had insinuated on the other board that this was relatively unprecedented ground to have so many transfers/decommitments in one year. Guess I'm wrong.

Either way, can't wait to get some good news, be it a win, coach returning sooner than expected, or a big commitment/transfer. Time to turn the tide of momentum back in our favor.

Kids have left Syracuse, UConn and all the others - we just focus on the only team we love. Like focusing on your own kids and their growing pains oblivious to other families on the block.

Perspective.

Patience.

Long term process. This year is just fine and as it was supposed to be with or without Lavin on the sidelines.

No coach could deal with the mess the Jarvis-Roberts Dark Ages brought or wrought upon us.

How could anyone inherit a class of modestly talented seniors then have to recruit an entire team???

We are doing so well and we are fortunate to have the current staff moving us along. Transition year friends. Transitions.

We were thirsty for a winning (as opposed to our whining) program and now we are gathering up the storm forces.

So let's chill and stay thirsty (where have I heard that phrase)

all the best

PS I'd rather lose with our talented freshmen then watch another year of crappy basketball going nowhere soon.
