Id be very happy with 65% of the crowd wearing Red

Just being realistic. Hope im wrong. Either way, ill be there

Late game right?

Could hurt Nova turnout. Then again will definitely hurt ours :)

Nova kids not back in school yet. Tons from NYC area. I believe they will be out in force, since they will be home. I don't hate their students. Many grew up on SJU basketball and still root for us except against Nova (and a few even when Nova plays SJU - my kids were in that group). I root for Nova except against SJU.

It's about time New York showed up for the 15th ranked team in the country, considering NY sports stink right now. Beast is in for 6 tix that night, and each of his kids is rooting for St. John's

Yes, it starts at 9 pm. Its also the first full work week after the holidays, and its a tuesday. Just presenting all of the excuses that will be used on the 7th

Hope we both win our two games this week. Would be 2 top 15 teams going into that game.
Would love to see MSG soldout for that one, that includes the 400 level.
Lets make it seem like it's 1985 all over again. I want it 80% SJU fans.
No bs excuses, if you're a diehard then you'll get to MSG

I'll be there, and bringing my pops.

January 6th @ the Garden is shaping up as a very big game which I believe StJ's wins.

Lets hope that the StJ's fans show up on January 6th to support their team.
If we dont own the Garden that night, shame on our fans

MSG crowds have been terrible so far. 8600 for Indiana/ Gtown. Just too many games there, but Nova should be a good one assuming we take care of business as do they.

They have been. But MSG doesn't care. These teams or company in the case of the invitational pay MSG a nice healthy rent. Why do you think there was no urgency when Norm was coach? MSG was getting their fat rent check and we charged so much we were still breaking even as crazy as it sounds.

MSG is played out and Barclays is already there after just what 3 years?

Hey Moose, curious since you seem to be in the know and have worked in the sports marketing sector: Do you know what the cost to rent the Garden is, or what the break even is in terms of attendance or ticket revenue? It seems crazy that the Norm crowds of 4-5K would result in break even, but again, you would know better.

Back during those year it was my understanding that 6-7k would break even. When we had one big game it would obviously skew numbers for us. Since then the renovations have obviously raised the rent. Not sure what break even is nowadays.

does st johns get a % of the bronx pale ale sales ? I'd like to think that I was giving back to the university each time I wait on that line at MSG
