To all the current players - Show No Doubts

The ball movement is predicated on getting a better shot rather than simply moving around the perimeter.

Exactly (and Finally!)

Big factor is the hustle. 1st half against Fordham was the the first time that I felt like our guys were not getting the lion's share of 50/50. And DH has taken a major (leap) in rebounding and defense. We always think of him as a scorer but in some ways he has improved as much as Obekpa and it is almost going unnoticed. Greene was and deserves to be the hero, but the DH defense was the biggest factor in the Syracuse win.

DH - man with a mission. Forget about Jordan being the superior talent for now - DH is leading a charge and will carry his teammates on his back if he has to in order to earn a berth. If he can play at this level by performing in crunch time- bad shooting % and all, we can have an 11-12 win BE season and be right there on selection Sunday. If that happens, more than a few of us will feel like crying tears of joys for these guys.

I'm calling it right now, straight up.
We're winning these last 3 ooc games, we'll beat Duke, and we're going at the worst 14-4 in conference.
They're gonna shine on OUR COURT and bring the B.E. championship home.
We'll be a 2 or 3seed, and these guys will make all of NYC proud.
THAT'S WHAT'S GONNA HAPPEN DAMMIT.

It will be like turning back the clock when all vof nyc went nuts for sju back in the 80s, and a short from from the late 90s to the early 2000s, and one year in 2011.
DH, PG, DOM, and Branch want to go out with a bang, they want to see what MSG is like when SJU is great. Lets show them crazy love.
THIS YEAR I CONSIDER THEM REDMEN, THEY'RE PLAYING LIKE REDMEN.
WINNERSSSSSSSSSSSSS

D'Lo is playing like the BE POY and we all know he's our POY. This guy is money and I can't believe his four years have gone this quickly. I would love to find another guy who plays like him for next year (gutsy, scorer, leader, someone who just loves our school like the rest of us). This guy is money.

Best part of these games is watching how happy the guys are! This is the second time they did the close up of Dlo with his arms around his teammates goofing at the end. This is the most cohesive bunch I have seen in awhile and it shows on the court. Love it.

Thank you for never giving up. This team is part of the New York family forever. Keep the story going!

Leave it all on the court.

Hoping all the current players have the best year of their lives. Not for the fans, but for themselves. For going to St. Johns and representing the school, city, and state. This is a basketball hungry city and this program is a sleeping giant. Hoping to see a hungry and gritty team on the floor this year. Good luck team!

And yes, as a fan I feel like I have been knocked down after yesterday. Makes me appreciate all the players we have even more!

Great win!! I didn't get to see it because I was traveling. So happy for these kids. I just hope they get healthy and be at full strength come tourney time. I really think they can make a run.
