Before I just logged in to the site I noticed that there were 195 Members and 60,845 Guests Online.

No, that is not a typographical error there was over 60,000 guests loggers in. That is an incredible number of people that follow St.John's basketball.

Sincere thanks to my friend "Paul" who makes this site available for free.

Now if only we can get just half of those fans to show up at MSG on a regular basis, we' d have one Hell of a home court advantage. :woohoo:

That sounds impossible to me. What is the daily traffic on this site?

I'm reading this right now instead of watching Japanese porn. That, my friends, is power.

Henti or normal? The 60k has no meaning without a time frame. Is it over a year a month or a day? It can be the same 1000 people visiting again and again, It can be members who did not log in. without time frame and IP statistics we may never know.

No way that guest # can be accurate.

Agree! Not to mention, some people may seem to be "online" when they actually aren't on.

True. I always remain logged in on my phone, but not necessarily reading the site. Still, the 60K number seems hard to believe.

The reason for so many guests is because when people pull up this site they may not be logged in. Despite the fact that I press the remember me box, most times I am not logged in and don't bother to, unless I want to post something.

To show you maybe not the power of redmen.com but the reach of redmen.com I'll share a quick story that I told a couple of posters privately

I was down in the boonies of maryland where my grandma lives on a farm. Real small town with only 1 traffic light. I had to go to the nearest drug store to get wrapping paper because he town is so small she doesnt even have a confectionary type store. The drug store has 1 employee and that's the pharmacist. I'm wearing sju stuff and the guy starts talking sju stuff. He knew everything. I asked him how he keeps up with all the news and he says he reads a st johns website. I ask him which one and he says redmen.com. I started cracking up.

I ask him who is favorite posters were and he the first name that came out of his mouth was Paultz&JSJ and couple others and then he says mjmaherjr. I'm dying now without telling him who I am. I tell him I'm friends with Paultz&JSJ and he was star struck that I knew them. He asked me how I knew them and I pull out my drivers license and give it to him. He looks at it and just stares and was stunned. He said " I've been laughing at your jokes for 15 years. Turns out he went to SJU I guess about 40 yrs ago

Sports writers/ columnists read Redmen.com as evidenced by the fact that promptly after news breaks on Redmen.com one or more sports writers follow with that information in a tweet or story over the internet.

MSG doesn't hold 30,000. :) Slightly less than a third of the more than 60,000 would give us a sellout. ;)
