The Newsroom Confessions

Heads up...I have a book reading tonight (Monday) at a place called 2A. It's on Second Avenue and Avenue A in Manhattan's alphabet city. It's at 7:30PM...note the time change... I'm looking forward to seeing some of you there!!! A second reading is set for Friday at 7:00PM on Bleecker Street. I'll post details later.

The new registrants to this site should understand that poster "newsman 13" (a/k/a "Newsie") is best know on Redmen.com as a long time respected poster who provides balance insights into college basketball and StJ's basketball.

In addition, Newsie is a helluva writer whose book is worth a read.

And whose time at Fox News Channel was hopefully a time of espionage and subterfuge given his liberal leanings that make him an even better person. ;)

Yeah because the ridiculously childish and completely self-serving posturing and arguing between both liberals and conservatives have put this country in such a good place; how about just a little good old common sense from either side?

Common sense equals bad ratings. Bad ratings equals unemployment. It's business. People should be smart enough to vote in their best interests. Overall, they're not.

None of this is in my book

People should be smart enough to watch news shows that exhibit common sense. They are not. FWIW we give people far too much credit. I've met people, I've heard people, I've read people, they don't deserve the credit.

PS I guess I'll wait for your second book. ;)

I thought of resisting the urge to take the bait, but lots of tax paying Americans would disagree with you, as is their right.
