They already are. ;)

Soccer always wanted a strong NY franchise. Too bad the Red Bulls (and every other past incarnation) have been the worst franchise in MLS history. And remember, NYCFC can easily be New York Cosmos FC. The Man City-Yankees partnership is still just an acronym.
 
How many goals did Pele, Beckenbauer and Georgio Chingalia score? Did Shep Messing post a shut out?
