The Future of St. John's @ MSG (Torch Article)

Somewhat related: I cant believe annmarie carey will no longer be there for all of us in the red white club! Who is responsible for this? After all these years....Truly very disturbing....Go St Johns!
 
If listening to the AD does not sound like we will be playing more then 4 games there a year. This excludes Holiday festival and other tournaments.
 
Let's bring back the Lapchick Tournament-The Garden Version.

As far as I know...she will no longer be employed by the University. It seems someone was not happy with her performance. It's a shame because she was only part time and she was a classy representative of the school for greater than 30 yrs. All this continuity and class lost. In my business someone that represents the company well being part time is always a steal!
 
We have to move on ! MGS has not been a boom to our recruiting over the last 10yrs The other teams in the BE get along fine if not better and they do not call the garden the home. Put that nonsense aside and recruit better and smarter and we will see progress. Many are this board say Matt is our only recruiter than that has to change for us to be successful. Accountability needs to be in place at all levels for us to move up

Let’s play Duke at Christ the King gym v MSG every other year. That would excite them.

What are you talking about? St. John's is dead without MSG. Every other Big East teams plays in either NBA arenas or venues much better than CA.

Well than it is her own fault. St. John's University-where incompetence is rewarded!

I believe our affiliation with Under armour has done more damage with our recruiting.

We need to go back to Nike.

I am going to finally get to taste one or two of your Bronx Pale Ales when we go to the Knick game Saturday afternoon with tickets my daughter gave us for Christmas. While game will be totally meaningless, MSG is MSG and nothing like the atmosphere there, especially when you only get there once every few years!

Great. Let me know what you think. They dont sell it at every beer stand so you have to go to a couple to find it. Luckily it's a couple sections away from our MSG seats

Our seats are in section 227. Sounds like I may have to go down a level to find the BPA stand. That's fine. Don't expect a huge crowd for this game. They have a couple of locally brewed pale ales in Charlotte area that I like so will be curious to compare.
 
If they play less MSG games, they should lower the prices of season tickets accordingly. They won't but they should. The only reason I have season tickets and don't buy on Stubhub is because I like being at center court for MSG. My Carnesecca seats are not nearly as good, don't have any interest in paying 750 bucks for 18 games where I'll break my back.
