The Elephant In The Room

I'm all for finding a spot or two on the roster next year for some bulk, but I don't think we're in danger of underachieving if we don't get a big body banger or two. On defense, weak side help will equal blocks, and even guys like Delgado will think twice about a shot. On offense, as long as we can create space for an entry pass, I think we're in good shape. It's not impossible to think that Sima might be able to body up in the post next year, and be a legitimate threat. That might be more for his Junior year, but not impossible that we see some of that next year.

I don't care about weight. At all. Except maybe my wife's.

If the concern is that we might be too thin next year.... what people are really saying is that Sima, Yakwe, and Owens might not be good enough rebounders and defenders.

And to that, i can't really disagree. It's so early for Sima and Yakwe that its hard to tell what they will look like next year.

Noticed Owens for the first time yesterday...Dude is skinnier than Sima, He's about 7 foot and probably weights 200 pounds soaking wet :pinch:

He is listed as 6'10 and 185. To put in perspective, I am 6'0 and 205. So he's got me by 10 inches and I got him by 20 pounds. I am in pretty good shape, and that's really skinny.

Owens,Mussini and the others need to go on a quesalupa diet over the summer. I had 2 of those things and they will definitely help you put on weight
