Syracuse Fan Already Asking About St Johns Game

The school should have a big pre-sale campaign, offering first dibs to alums and fans before the tickets go on sale to the general public. Have some kind of event attached to it in order to make the game even more enticing to our fans.

Unfortunately our fans would flip the tickets for a profit.

Don't know about that. I do remember riding the LIRR with my wife and youngest son to see St.John's play G'town at the garden. The game was for first place, Mullln vs. Ewing. I was offered $450 for the tickets; very, very tempting but no way would I miss my Johnnies that night.

As someone who has attended all of the 'recent' Cuse games trust me it will happen.

Didn't we have someone in the athletic dept flipping tickets?

I talk a good game but I would have taken the $450 (per ticket?) and spent the afternoon at Stout.

My question was rhetorical.

And how the heck do you think he posts as that. Some of you guys crack me up :)

When we start winning consistantly the crowds will come. Lets face the facts we were tough to watch the last 2 years. That said, things look very promising for next year.

Is that really him? Very negative poster

Hopefully the SJU will be smart enough not to sell single game tix for this game. Make the Syracuse fans have to buy this as part of a 4 home game SJU package and milk every dollar from them! Make them have to buy SJU vs Prov and SJU vs Depaul, and all the games that basically dont draw well.

Canada's team!

Last night I attended an event for Wake Forest. The AD was talking about the next location for the ACC tournament, and he mentioned that NYC will high on the list because "Syracuse is New York's team". It is bad enough seeing the quote on taxis and Yankee Stadium. Hearing it from an outsider is rough.

Hopefully Lavin and the team can change that in the next decade.

Wake's AD should worry about finding a coach.
I'm not concerned with our MSG deal. We are fine for a long time.

I saw an add on a Cab with "Syracuse New Yorks College Team" and then a Pepsi logo at the bottom. So it looks like thoes taxi add's are sponcered with Pepsi. WE NEED TO ALL BOYCOTT PEPSI!!! Also I am going to file a complaint with the BBB against Pepsi for False Advertizing.

My son said I couldn't sell the tickets because one belonged to him. Hello, I paid for the tickets. They offered $150 for each ticket. Before each team took the garden floor, there were chants of "Let's go Redmen." Those were the days.
