Syracuse and the Garden

Scuse betrayed st.j's by leaving the bigeast they dont deserve the rivarly to continue especially at the garden
the rivarly help build the BE they killed it not us
st.j's is not avoiding them by not scheduling them they left our league for greed

They will crumble after Boheim retires just like uconn w calhoun
wait till they fall then beat the hell out of them but not till Baldy retires

Monasch could sched. Duke,NC,Kentucky,Kansas,Florida & easy pack the garden just like RMnorth said

Yeah UConn is struggling without Calhoun this year. They probably would be in the big dance if not for the suspension.

Yes suspension for good reasons thats why stuttering jimmy retired
Can they make the post season NO......................... coulda woulda shoulda screw uconn
they will dancing in Ol' McDonalds BarnDance this march for hopkins 1st yr lol

St. John’s and Syracuse have a deal to play non-conference games the next two seasons. Garden in 2013-14. Carrier Dome in 2014-15. #stjbb

lol there goes my idea of playing the defectors at Carnesseca... I think with the right promotion and good media buzz, playing a big team on campus could be something worth trying out.

I share the mixed emotions about hosting Syracuse at the Garden but no question that it will provide a yardstick to see how far we've come.

I don't like the invasion of Syracuse fans at msg either, but to me this is a very very good decision by Monasch.
And I'll look forward to this game more than any other next season.

Syracuse was coming to the Garden one way or another. At least this way STJ can get a marquee game and some extra money.

This is a great rivalry, it should be played. If you want to be New York's team, win the game and buy tickets to the MSG game.
Whining that Syracuse puts more fans in the seats is a result of the the crappy teams we've had over the last 15 years and the
so called fans that don't buy tickets.

We should actually tell them to just come to MSG every year, because going to the Carrier Dome does nothing for us.

Good decision. If not, it looks like we're hiding from the Orange, afraid to play them on our own turf. And with the quality of recruits that Lavin's been bringing in, I'm confident that we'll do very well against. them in the years to come. As for the large numbers of 'Cuse fans in the house: it'll be soooo sweet to shut them up while we give them a beating. Bring 'em on.

Why give them a home game on campus upstate when they need the Garden exposure Monasch should have resigned up DUKE instead
at least its only 2yr deal

It should have been at the garden or no dice we play at CA then tan man chokes again
We have the upper hand & hes gives in should have made them sweat for a couple yrs ....................
Wonder if that joker/tanman ever played poker
