I am not well read on this topic...
I presume this allows for college sports betting, correct?
Does this open to door to wagers via your phone? i.e. if you are in NY State, and a legal NY State casino sets up a web operation, would mobile phone betting would be allowed?
College sports will be included. It will take some time to set up a mobile app, but that is coming.
My question: will there be one source for the lines, or will each state set their own lines? If the latter, a bettor could get St. John’s at -5 in NY, and -7 in IL. He could then play both...and pocket money.
Or, since the states take is based on the total pool (amount played) , what prevents one state from undercutting others by enticing bettors with better odds?
I don't think it's going to work like that Porgyman. If you are a New Jersey resident and you set up an account with Caesars in AC and have a mobile account with them then you will get Caesars Entertainment odds. The odds in Vegas will be the same as every other Caesars owned casino.
