Steph Curry item

I am far from a frontrunner myself as a 50 year fanatical fan of the Knicks & St. John's. Having said that, the Warriors are one winner I love to watch and root for against every team but the Knicks. Steph, Klay, Green & Iggy play basketball the way it is meant to be played always finding the open man. Yes, Steph can showboat a bit these days, as do most NBA players, but he almost always makes the right basketball play in addition to making some phenomenal shots and is very well liked by his teammates.

Wasn't trying to create a firestorm by posting the article; just thought it was a nice human interest story in a time when most of the news we read is bad. Will stick to pure basketball articles going forward. On to today's game and a team we can all agree to root for.

Don’t worry NC, thanks for sharing the article and continue to share any articles in the future. The nba is just a very divisive league, people all have their stars they love and hate. LeBron is my favorite player so, naturally I dislike the Warriors.

Again, I like Steph but I can’t root for him or enjoy or his antics on the court when he’s apart of Golden State.

Fun fact: Steph Curry was my hero when he brought Davidson to the elite 8. I was like 10 years old or something when he made that run and as a constant supporter of the underdog I couldn’t get enough of it. My dad still to this day talks about how the Knicks were one pick away from getting Steph. Man the NBA would be different if that happened

Gotcha Jack. I moved down here in 2011 and have gone to at least one Davidson game every year since then, but Steph left a couple of years before we moved here. However, I started coming here a lot for business in his Elite Eight year and got very caught up in the Steph/Davidson mania. This year I'm taking the family to see Davidson play UNC at Chapel Hill the weekend after Christmas which should be a lot of fun. Suspect I was only able to get tickets because the UNC students are on break.
