Steph Curry item

Absolutely stellar response from Steph and UA. So simple to listen and fix a problem, yet so rare. Well done by all involved...

A+ job by the UA marketing team making up a letter from a fake girl...

just kidding, but thats how it felt the first time i read it.

LOL, she's real. Steph is from the Charlotte area where I live now and story was all over the local news last night with both the girl and her dad interviewed.

I believe it happened, by also believe that Curry's team thought this was a great opportunity to capitalize and make him look really good.

Lol thats good. I like Steph. I hate the Warriors though, I wish KD and Draymond would leave and the team was just Klay and Steph. The NBA would be more interesting and the warriors would be more likable. I thought the Cavs vs Warriors could have been one of the great all time NBA rivalries but they kind of ruined it when KD came and Kyrie left.

of course. And it is smart. This was a layup marketing move for them, and they took full advantage. Whether or not it was a great marketing move, i do think Steph is a genuine guy, he always has appeared to be.

Even if Serena Williams kicked his ass in ping pong. That was real, too, no? :)

I agree. Hope you are well.

He is a genuinely good guy; always makes it a point when Warriors come in to play the Hornets to make a visit to Davidson College and attend a game if the schedule allows. His Dad has been doing Hornets games on TV for years and is also very well liked in the area.

While we're talking about Steph in terms of on the court.

When he first burst on the scene I found him great to watch. The underdog etc taking the Association by storm. But am I the only one that think in the past few years he has become a real prick on the court. Now he has the same cocky arrogant showboating prima donna attitude seen by far too many NBA players.

Absolutely. There was an article released a year or two ago by an nba reporter, where he said that the players never outwardly say it, but it’s understood that a lot of players in the nba do not like Steph.

He and his team were a cocky bunch, after their 73-9 season. That’s why LeBron coming back on them in the finals was one of the most saitisfying sporting events I had ever seen. Watching them walk back to the locker rooms with their head down, kyrie hitting the 3 right in stephs face, it was awesome. They were humbled.

But Draymond called KD in the parking lot right after that game 7, and the rest is history. A couple championships, the cockiness came back.

LeBron is the single most passive aggressive athlete I've ever seen. I'd rather deal with cockiness than deal with someone who acts like a 13-year-old girl.

The bottom line is the Cavs weren't coming back unless and until Draymond got suspended. As far as players not liking Steph, I always take it with a grain a salt when people say things anonymously. One thing is very clear; his teammates love him. The same can't be said about Lebron and Kyrie is a perfect example of that.

I always hate when people say this. LeBron and kyrie combined for 82 points in the game 5 that Draymond did not play. And Draymond does not guard either of them on the floor. Kyrie could not miss that night, they weren’t losing.

And if you wanna play that game, then take away the warriors 2015 rings cause LeBron didn’t have kyrie or Kevin Love and still had a 2-1 series lead. But neither matters cause it isn’t what happened.

Also, there are tons of accounts of players that love LeBron as a teammate, tons. Kyrie wanting out had less to do with LeBron and more to do with kyrie wanting to be the main star on a team.

Call LeBron passive aggressive and all that, sure, but his teammates do love him and he’s the best player by far. No one else in the league would’ve gotten last years cavs anywhere near the finals. They are the worst team in the NBA now.

Interesting, because all I've ever heard is that his teammates hate him. And you are revising history if you think Irving left to be the main star. He freaking wanted to kill LeBron by the end of his time there.

And Curry isn't a coach killer either. LeBron is pulling that shit again.

It’s a real shame kyrie wanted to kill LeBron. I doubt that’s true, but I guess he wanted to stop going to the finals and and go back to winning 20 games a season, cause that’s all the cavaliers were under his leadership.

Off the top of my head I can name quite a few players who have praised LeBron as a great teammate and leader, Kevin Love, Tristan Thompson, Dwayne Wade, Chris Bosh, Kyle Korver, Richard Jefferson, Udonis Haslem, Cedi Osman.

I understand why people don’t like LeBron for sure, but I don’t understand when people hate LeBron and ignore the real bad guy/dark side in the NBA, and that’s golden state

How is Golden State the bad guy/dark side? Because Bob Myers was creative enough to add KD to a team that had three stars? Your reason had better be something else, because that's ridiculous if that's your thinking, especially since the original trio is homegrown.

Maybe someday there will be an NBA for women athletes. We can call it the WNBA. No seriously, it could work. But society is too mysogynistic for that to happen. Without any female role models in sports, little girls must write letters to Steph Curry rather than Rebecca Lobo.

Since the beginning of my life I’ve always hated front runners. The patriots, Miami Heat with LeBron, Duke, and now the Dubs

I don’t blame the warriors management, but I do hate KD for blowing a 3-1 lead to a team and then joining them. I know I’m not alone in that thinking. Steph is a showboating clown on the court, and Draymond is an absolute douche. I’d love them if they played for my team, but their antics piss me off when I watch them. Klay is the only one who doesn’t piss me off. KD literally ruined the NBA with his move to Golden State, how could they not be the bad guys? And then Cousins joins? So tired of them. Believe me, A LOT of people hate LeBron, but even more people hate the golden state warriors. They are the worst. What a great night it was when Draymond called KD a bitch and KD got exposed for the pussy he is
