Steere Appeal Denied
I was at the game tonight vs. Columbia, and saw that Steere had a noticeable limp. Anyone else notice that? I hope he's not hurt.
Hopefully minor and he has a few weeks still to sort it out.

Yes. Also noticed another big guy on the bench that I had not seen at any other games.
The kid you're referring to is at least as tall as Steere and has been in sweats at all the games and on the court along with Steere and McGriff while the team warms up prior to the games. He usually sits behind the bench, tonight was the first time he sat on the floor with the team. Does anybody have an idea who he is and if he's going to play for us at some point?

We’ve been searching for the “mystery big” for years... have we finally found him? Bigfoot?

Speaking of Steere, I look for our offense to improve a bit when he becomes eligible. While our ball movement is already very good, the ball does not go inside very much.

If something is happening down low, it should give Figgy and Heron some more breathing room on the perimeter and open up a lot more opportunities.

I believe that Steere will have 2.5 years of eligibility remaining
Similar to the Jamal Branch situation a few years back
Apparently that tall kid is a walk-on. I noticed Steere limping too
Lets go!
Gotta find out the mystery big ha

His name is Jalen Rosemond, I believe he's just a practice player this year, maybe a walk on next season

He graduated from Calhoun and played on the club team last year

He’s listed at 6’6” so he’s not steere’s hright it seems.

Interesting watching this Georgetown vs Texas game on right now. Steere reminds me a ton of Texas’ Jericho Simms who is matching up with Yurtseven right now. Steere is extremely similar build and style to Simms.

Yes that is about his height. He and three others made the cut from student tryouts and then got to practice and tryout against the team during some practices. I believe another kid about 6’ 2” also made it to the practice squad.

Then why doesn't he suit up like the others? Injured?

either he's grown or Steere's shrunk, because the kid is def taller.

I found something from the St.John's club team that listed him 6'8. Must have grown a couple of inches his senior year of high school. He is thin which may make him look taller.

There's apparently another huge kid on the club team too, Jaheel Pryce. Wonder if he is a practice player too.

Is this the right video? I watched but only saw a 40 year old man playing against kids at a YMCA summer camp.

Greatest hidden player we have had during my years following the team was a student during my years at the school (72-76) and he scrimmaged with an NBA team in Alumni Hall. Had me hoping he would join the team-fellow by the name of Abdul Ali (6'6 and could jump at a time we had very little height).

Thanks, never noticed him before.
