Staten Island campus to end university housing

I'm not elitist in the least. I don't believe the University should lower academic admission standards, thus hurting its reputation and the opportunitites for its grads, for students who don't get Bs in high school and have below average SAT scores. That was the way under Harrington and it damaged the University a great deal. If they can't maintain the same higher standards at the SI campus, and I have heard first-hand about the toxic student environment there, then cut it and better utilize resources.

Basically, policy makers look at organizational mission and well being, service providers look at client outcome, and managers use numbers to bridge between the two other domains.  Babies do get thrown out with the bath water, policies do lose sight of founding principles, and some clients wind up worse off as a result of interventions.

St. John's University Staten Island Campus now in the news for a different reason:St. John’s University Staten Island Campus Made List for “Best Value of Colleges in New York City Area"Niche, a website dedicated to ranking and reviewing schools across the country, has released its list of the top colleges in the United States for 2022.
According to Niche, the Best Colleges ranking is based on rigorous analysis of academic, admissions, financial, and student life data from the U.S. Department of Education along with millions of reviews from students and alumni.  The ranking compares more than 1,000 top colleges and universities in the country. The St. John’s Staten Island campus is honored to have made this list.
