St. Mary's (Md) roll call

Free throw shooting was horrendous. Good crowd for an exhibition game. I with rare exceptions miss these exhibition games, but no doubt there is a lot of interest in this team. I hope the students are prepared to ride out what may be a rough 1st year for these guys. Remember, most students hopped on late last year after we starting upsetting top flight competition, so I'm guessing if we get off to a bad start, many will hop off quickly too.

The students in the bright green morph suits looked kind of creepy. When they ran through the arena late in the game to try to excite the crowd, there wasn't much of a reaction. It's early, though. Even the fans have to find their way,

Does anyone know a place online to watch ESPN 3 if my internet provider doesnt allow me to?

I'm also wondering where else I can view tonight's game. My internet provider has a block on ESPN3 because I'm not a customer of their cable services. LOL

Hopefully, someone provide a feed for the game, this evening.

Haven't you guys heard, it's only a scrimmage--- why would anyone want to watch it?

I didn't hear that, where did you hear that?

From some guy who jumped down my throat with a lot of !!!!!

Another poster with reading comprehension issues. You said, "so much for all the games being televised" LMF (was it LMF, I'm too lazy to go back a page) simply, succinctly and correctly stated that tonight is not a game, it's an exhibition. The implication is that this game doesn't count towards "all the games being televised". He was simply correcting a factual error. Whatever personal slight you inferred from his post would appear to be all in your head.

Hey know- it - all someone had posted that all the games, including the 2 exb's would be on the tube.

Some people pointed out that their channel guides had the game showing but later changed to Cuse. So something happened there that caused that change.

I didn't get out to the game, I noticed in the box score that Green only played 20 mins-- was he in foul trouble , or just wasn't playing well? He looked sharp vs Post and I expected him to play more last night.

I'd say he wasn't playing well. He never forced anything. And is very comfortable with the ball in his hands. The shots weren't dropping. And I think its clear that Dunlap wants to get Harrison his looks to get him out of this funk. Definitely not the Greene we saw game 1. Neither was Nuri for that matter but things happen day to day.

Nobody was in foul trouble. Pretty sure Nuri picked up a 3rd late in the game and he 'led' the team in fouls.

Thanks, Green looked legit the 1st night-- we can prob chalk it up to a bad night.

You can chalk it up to Dunlap running in subs every minute. No way the guys could get a feel for the game the way he was subbing, at least give them 5 minutes to see what they could do. Anybody else feel the same way that was at the game?

Didn't sense that. Plus he only had 2 subs so the other 3 in the game could develop a flow. Plus now is the time to pull and coach. Get that out of the way now.

Did you catch Dunlap and Harrison going at it the whole game? Harrison even got into it with a walkon during a timeout? Hope it was a sign of frustration with his game last night and not some type of attitude problem.

Didn't see the walkon thing you mentioned. I know after the tech he pulled him, kneeled next to him and said a few words and Harrison shook his head in agreement. Harrison has a mouth, nobody will deny it. But some will side with i and some won't. I recall Burrell's first game me and another poster calling him out about whining. Obviously you learn and mature.

I noticied Harrison yapping up a storm all game. I definitely thought he was frustrated but I was told in this thread that he has a rep of being a "talker". I wish he would just shut up and play, this team can ill afford to pick up technicals because a player cant control his barking.

Dunlap took him out early in first and asked if he knew why he came out. Apparently he did't like Harrison's answer and told him in not such a nice way to hustle back on D. It continued pretty much the whole game.

Ahh he was the first guy pulled from the game. Makes sense with what you heard.

Good move by Dunlap, hopefully he got his point across

I noticed most of what happened and it looked to me like Harrison was yelling at Moe Hicks during the timeout and a walk-on had to pull Harrison away from the huddle. Between that and the technical, I would say that today's practice won't be very pleasant for him.

I missed the game, what did he do to get the T ?

Went in for a layup. One of their bigs fouled him. He didn't fall to the ground or whatever so he felt the need to yap to him along the lines of 'try again' or 'I'm not going down'. One ref let it go but when Nuri pulled him away he kept yapping and Higgins t'ed him up.
