I've noticed this on the front page of the site, hopefully this sheds some light:

Shortly after the Christmas break of the '97-98 basketball season, redmen.com was launched. What began as a hobby effort of an itinerant St. John's basketball fan, quickly became a shared passion of fans and others from around the world. Run solely via community volunteers redmen.com has historically been the most trafficked website in the history of Big East sports having served well over a Billion pages and multimedia.

Fark we're old. I remember when you were a freshman. When did you graduate from UConn?

lol yes I found redmen.com when I was a freshman at UConn, that was 2001, I graduated in 2005, I'm 30 now!
