St John’s NCAA Tournament games in Providence - who's going, etc. thread

For anyone going to the game if your tix are on Ticketmaster download them to your wallet now. I had them in my account last night I transferred one to a friend then this morning the tix and my order were gone completely from the site for 3 hours then reappeared then I was able to transfer 2 more then my tix disappeared again entirely. Have been back and forth with Ticketmaster all morning all day trying to get this fixed

Homewood suites Marriott Coutyard are super close to the arena 2 blocs also the Omni

I've found the hotels near the airport are cheaper by a significant amount. About a 13 minute drive by Uber.

Residence Inn is across the street - but not cheap. Was nice after the game last night though.

For anyone going out for the afternoon games in Providence, there is a Dave and Busters in the Providence place mall across from the Omni, above the third floor. D&B's usually has a great TV set up.

Yeah, for anyone who bought round one tickets late, did the prices come down closer to game time?

The only strategy we have is our group of 9 are going to break up in groups of 2 and buy and Redstormrising actually bought his own ticket just today

I think when you look at the bracket, other than SJU most of the fans had to fly here and it’s not easy to just cancel and rebook flights. I talked to a few Kansas fans at breakfast this morning and they aren’t going anywhere.

The good news is they said they are now McNeese and SJU fans.

Went to the St Johns/Kansas game at UBS and a Kansas couple were sitting in front of me. He comes back to his seat after getting a cocktail and comments on the cost as says "I guess I'm not in Kansas anymore"
